Accurate rebar tonnage estimate models
We use state of the art 3D rebar modelling software to provide extremely accurate and fast preconstruction rebar tonnage estimates, giving our clients confidence when tendering for projects or entering into fixed price contracts.

For as little as £1 per tonne we will produce a 3D rebar model, from the main consultant's design intent, of all reinforcement on the project and then apply a calculated allowance for laps to provide an extremely accurate estimate of the project's final tonnage.
This fee will also be fully reimbursed if Solve structural design are then appointed to complete the full RC detailing package.
Previous project estimates have been within 3% of the final tonnage.
Our software has plate and shell elements and auto-meshing facilities allowing us to analyse the most complex of shapes.
VIEW OUR PROJECTS
Our computers are updated regularly to ensure that they have the power to cope with substantially large and complex models.
Specialist geotechnical modules allow our software to model soil as springs, with spring stiffness evaluated from soil properties and borehole logs. This allows us to perform complicated foundation analysis for a variety of soil and foundation types.
Our FEA includes options include linear analysis, non-linear analysis (both material and geometrical non-linearities) and full plastic analysis; allowing advanced and economical steel and concrete design.
